Nursing classes begin in January. Students who complete the 48-week nursing program will graduate in December of the same year. Each course has an academic and clinical component. Students must complete 1,350 hours of academic course work and clinical training to qualify to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). The program concludes with a 150-hour comprehensive review course to prepare students to successfully pass the NCLEX-PN and become a licensed practical nurse.
