Foster, West Virginia, May 15, 2022 – Cavin White was recently awarded a $1000 scholarship from the National Technical Honor Society. He will graduate from Scott High School in Madison, WV on May 28, 2022 and plans to pursue a career in utility line service at Bridge Valley Community & Technical College. Cavin White was one of 250 outstanding NTHS members to receive the Jon H. Poteat Scholarship based on their ability to consistently exemplify the 7 attributes of NTHS – Skill, Honesty, Service, Responsibility, Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership.

Since 1984, NTHS has been the honor society for Career and Technical Education (CTE), serving high schools, career centers, community & technical colleges, and universities.
